The committee, formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and members such as a Director or Deputy Secretary from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and representatives from Customs, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from the West Bengal government and a representative from the developer company are included as members.
