of <h1>Hexaware Technologies to Establish IT SEZ at SIPCOT IT Park, Chennai on 11 Hectares of Designated Land</h1> The Central Government has designated a specific area within the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT) IT Park, located on Old Mahabalipuram Road, Siruseri, Chennai, as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This notification, dated August 31, 2006, authorizes Hexaware Technologies Limited to establish an SEZ for information technology and IT-enabled services. The area comprises parts of survey numbers 240, 248, and 249, totaling 11 hectares. This decision follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the issuance of a letter of approval on June 9, 2006.
