of <h1>Gandhinagar Electronic Estate in Gujarat becomes SEZ for Electronic Hardware Tech Park and IT services under SEZ Act, 2005.</h1> The Central Government has designated a 28-hectare area at Gandhinagar Electronic Estate, Gujarat, as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation. This SEZ is intended for the development of an Electronic Hardware Technology Park and/or information technology-enabled services. The notification, issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, confirms that all legal requirements have been met under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The specified land is located between the west side of 'K' Road and the western boundaries of Gandhinagar City, with defined boundaries adjacent to village lands and a water canal.
