India Approves New IT Special Economic Zone in Andhra Pradesh Covering 40.88 Hectares
The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services by a private organization in Andhra Pradesh. This SEZ will be located in Gopanapally and Vattinagulapally villages, Serilingampally Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The approval follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The notified area covers a total of 40.88 hectares, with specific survey numbers identified for each village. The notification is issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce.
