Government Approves Handicrafts SEZ in Jodhpur by Mansarover Industrial Development, Complying with SEZ Act 2005

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for handicrafts at Jaipur Highway, Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This initiative, proposed by a private organization, Mansarover Industrial Development Corporation, complies with the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, satisfied with the fulfillment of necessary requirements, issued a letter of approval on June 25, 2007. The SEZ encompasses various parcels of land totaling 130.689 hectares, as detailed in the notification.
