of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for Navi Mumbai SEZ under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the multi-services Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, developed by a private company. This committee is constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes a Chairperson and several ex-officio members, such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and various commissioners from Customs, Central Excise, and Income Tax, as well as officials from the Government of Maharashtra and a representative from the developer company as a special invitee.
