Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ in Nagpur Under SEZ Act, 2005

The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT and IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Industrial Area in Butibori, Nagpur, Maharashtra. This committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes various ex-officio members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and officials from Customs, Central Excise, and Income Tax departments. A representative from the developer, M/s. Suyog Realtors Private Limited, is also a special invitee.
