of <h1>Deadline Extended for ITR-V Submission for AY 2011-12 & 2012-13; Send to CPC Bengaluru by Oct 31, 2013.</h1> The Income Tax Department has extended the deadline for taxpayers to submit their ITR-V forms for Assessment Years 2011-12 and 2012-13 to the Centralized Processing Center (CPC) in Bengaluru. Taxpayers who filed their returns electronically without a digital signature and have not yet submitted their ITR-V forms, or submitted them to local offices, must send their forms to the CPC by October 31, 2013, via ordinary or speed post. Failure to receive an acknowledgment from the CPC means the returns are considered unfiled, preventing processing or refunds. The ITR-V must be sent to Post Bag No. 1, Electronic City Post Office, Bengaluru - 560100.
