of <h1>India Amends CENVAT Credit Rules 2004: Notification No. 02/2014-CX Adds References to 2010 Notification</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 02/2014-CX (N.T.) on January 20, 2014, amending the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004. This amendment, effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette, modifies Rule 12 by adding references to a previous notification dated February 6, 2010. The original CENVAT Credit Rules were published on September 10, 2004, and the most recent amendment before this was made on January 8, 2014.
