<h1>India Appoints Common Adjudicating Authority for Customs Matters Under Notification No. 73/2013-Customs (N.T.)</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 73/2013-Customs (N.T.) appointing the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Exports) at Nhava Sheva as the Common Adjudicating Authority. This appointment is made under the Customs Act, 1962, to handle adjudication matters related to a show cause notice involving certain companies, including M/s Sandesh Exports Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Namo Impex Pvt. Ltd. The authority will also cover duties previously managed by the Additional Commissioners of Customs in Mumbai, Kandla, and ICD Tuglakabad, Delhi.
