of <h1>India Revises Customs Tariff Rates to 15% for Specific Items Under Notification No. 34/2013-Customs, Effective July 8, 2013.</h1> The Government of India, under the Ministry of Finance, issued Notification No. 34/2013-Customs, amending the previous Notification No. 12/2012-Customs dated March 17, 2012. This amendment, effective July 8, 2013, modifies the tariff rates in the original notification by substituting the entry in column (4) with 15% for serial numbers 76, 77, and 78. This change is made under the authority granted by the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was last amended on June 5, 2013, by Notification No. 31/2013-Customs.
