of <h1>Amendment to Excise Notification: Serial No. 28 Updated with New Codes for Public Interest under Central Excise Act, 1944.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 16/2006-Central Excise (N.T.) dated July 11, 2006, amending Notification No. 2/2006-Central Excise (N.T.) dated March 1, 2006. This amendment, made under the Central Excise Act, 1944, revises the entry in the table against serial number 28, replacing it with '2403 99 10, 2403 99 20 or 2403 99 30.' The amendment is intended to serve the public interest and was last updated by Notification No. 11/2006-Central Excise (N.T.) dated May 29, 2006.
