of <h1>Dalmia Institute Approved for Scientific Research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act for 1988 Period</h1> The Dalmia Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research in Rajgangpur has been approved by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The approval is for the period from January 1, 1988, to March 31, 1988. The institute must maintain separate accounts for scientific research funds, submit annual returns and audited accounts to the prescribed authority and the Central Board of Direct Taxes, and apply for extension three months before the approval expires. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in rejection of extension applications.
