of <h1>Maharashtra Rajya Draksha Bagitdar Sangha approved for tax benefits under Section 35(1)(ii) for 1987-88.</h1> The Maharashtra Rajya Draksha Bagitdar Sangha, Pune, has been approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is valid from April 1, 1987, to March 31, 1988. The institution must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research, submit annual returns of its research activities by May 31 each year, and provide audited financial statements by June 30. Additionally, it must apply for an extension of approval three months before expiration to the Central Board of Direct Taxes, with late applications subject to rejection.
