<h1>Approval Committee constitution for a power sector SEZ established; membership comprises designated ex officio officials and a developer invitee.</h1> Constitutes an Approval Committee for the power sector Special Economic Zone at Plot No. B-2, MIDC Warora, by M/s. Wardha Power Company Private Limited under Section 13(1) of the SEZ Act, 2005. Lists committee membership: Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson (ex officio); specified Department of Commerce representative; Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Mumbai; Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise with territorial jurisdiction (or nominee); Commissioner of Income Tax with territorial jurisdiction (or nominee); Director (Banking), Ministry of Finance; Development Commissioner (Industries), Government of Maharashtra; Joint Secretary (Industries), Government of Maharashtra; and a developer representative as Special Invitee. Provides that an officer not below Joint Development Commissioner will stand in for the Development Commissioner if absent.
