of <h1>Lady Anusuya Singhania Medical Research Society Gains Tax Benefits Under Section 35(1)(ii) for Scientific Research</h1> The Lady Anusuya Singhania Medical Research Society in Rajasthan has been approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research for tax benefits under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The approval is valid from May 5, 1987, to March 31, 1989. The Society must maintain separate accounts for scientific research funds, submit annual returns and audited accounts to the prescribed authority and the Central Board of Direct Taxes, and apply for approval extension three months before expiry. Non-compliance with these conditions may result in rejection of further approval applications.
