The approval, effective from January 3, 1984, to March 31, 1987, requires the institution to maintain separate accounts for scientific research funds, submit annual returns of research activities, and provide audited annual accounts to the prescribed authority and the Central Board of Direct Taxes. Additionally, the institute must apply for an extension of approval three months before its expiration.
