of <h1>Central Government Recognizes Arulmigu Thiagarajaswami Thirukoil for Tax Exemption Under Section 10(23C) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Central Government, exercising powers under clause (v) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has issued Notification No. S.O.1229 dated March 10, 1987. This notification recognizes 'Arulmigu Thiagarajaswami Thirukoil, Thiruvainur' for the purpose of the specified clause, applicable for the assessment years 1985-86 to 1987-88.
