of <h1>Janta College Approved for Scientific Research Funding Under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act, 1961, Until 1988.</h1> The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, has approved Janta College, Bakewar, Etawah, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, effective from October 24, 1986, to March 31, 1988. The college must maintain separate accounts for scientific research funds and submit annual returns of its research activities by April 30 each year. Additionally, it must provide audited annual accounts and a balance sheet by June 30 annually to the prescribed authority and the concerned Commissioner of Income-tax. For approval extension, the college must apply three months before expiry; late applications may be rejected.
