of <h1>Spastics Society of Eastern India Approved Under Section 35(1)(iii) for Scientific Research Funding (1985-1987)</h1> The Spastics Society of Eastern India has been approved as an institution under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi. This approval is valid from December 28, 1985, to March 31, 1987. The institution must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research, submit annual returns of its research activities by April 30, and provide audited financial statements by June 30 each year. Additionally, it must apply for approval extension three months before expiry to the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
