This decision aligns with the United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1988. The substances listed include Ergometrine, Ergotamine, Isosafrole, Lysergic acid, 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl-2-propanone, Methyl ethyl ketone, Norephedrine, 1-phenyl-2 propanone, Phenylacetic acid, Piperonal, Potassium permanganate, Safrole, and preparations of Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine. This notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, on March 26, 2013.
