of <h1>India Cuts Customs Duty on Cashew Nuts: New Rates Under Notification No. 27/2013-Customs</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 27/2013-Customs, amending Notification No. 12/2012-Customs dated March 17, 2012. This amendment reduces the customs duty on cashew nuts. Specifically, for goods classified under tariff headings 0801 32 10, the duty is set at Rs. 60 per kg or 45%, whichever is higher, and for goods under tariff headings 0801 32 20 and 0801 32 90, the duty is Rs. 75 per kg or 45%, whichever is higher. This change is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962.
