<h1>Reghvendra Industrial Research Foundation Renamed to Punjab Research Institute Effective August 28, 1981, Per Notification No. 3993.</h1> The name of 'Reghvendra Industrial Research Foundation,' based in Delhi, has been officially changed to 'Punjab Research Institute' effective from August 28, 1981. This change is reflected in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue & Insurance) Notification No. 3993, dated June 1, 1981. The notification, numbered S.O.554 and dated December 19, 1985, informs the public that all references to the former name in official documents should now be read as 'Punjab Research Institute' from the specified date.
