of <h1>Amendment to Excise Rules: Additional Categories Added and Schedule Terms Updated in Notification No. 18/2000-CE(N.T.)</h1> Notification No. 18/2000-CE(N.T.), dated March 1, 2000, amends Notification No. 21/99-CE(N.T.) from February 28, 1999, under the Central Excise Rules, 1944. The amendments include changes in paragraph 1, clause (c), sub-clause (ii), where specific sub-heading numbers are updated to include additional categories: 8702.10, 8703.90, 8706.21, and 8706.39. Additionally, in paragraph 2, clause (a), the term 'First Schedule' is replaced with 'First Schedule and Second Schedule.' These amendments are issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
