of <h1>New Form for Monthly Returns in Excisable Goods Manufacturing Under Central Excise Rules, 2002</h1> Notification No. 26/2004-CE(N.T.) dated 27/09/2004, issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, supersedes Notification No. 72/2003-CE(N.T.) dated 15/09/2003. This notification, under the authority of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, and CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, specifies a new form for monthly returns related to excisable goods manufacturing and the receipt of inputs and capital goods. The notification aims to streamline reporting processes for compliance with excise regulations. It was later superseded by Notification No. 24/2008 CE (NT) dated 23/05/2008.
