of <h1>Scientific Research on Brassica Hybrids Approved Under Income-tax Act Section 35 for Crop Production Enhancement</h1> A scientific research program titled 'Synthesis of Cytoplasmic Hybrids of Brassica Species to Augment Crop Production' has been approved under sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Sponsored by M/s Hindustan Lever Ltd., the project will be implemented by Bose Institute, Calcutta, from February 1, 1984, to January 31, 1987, with an estimated budget of 2.11 lakhs. Bose Institute is approved under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act to undertake the project on a sponsorship basis. The current approval is valid until February 29, 1984.
