of <h1>Scientific Research on Flame Retardant Fabrics Approved Under Section 35(2A) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> A scientific research program titled 'Development of Flame Retardant Finishes for Acrylic Blended Fabrics' has been approved under sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Sponsored by Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., Baroda, and implemented by The Bombay Textile Research Association Ltd., Bombay, the project commenced on January 10, 1983, and is set to complete on January 9, 1985, with an estimated budget of Rs. 2,22,000. The Bombay Textile Research Association is also approved under section 10(2)(xiii) of the Income-tax Act, 1922.
