Tata Endowment Recognized for Tax Exemption: Notification No. S.O.795, Applicable from 1984-85 to 1986-87</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under clause (iv) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has issued Notification No. S.O.795, dated January 23, 1984. This notification officially recognizes the 'J. N. Tata Endowment, Bombay' for the purposes of the mentioned section. The notification applies to the assessment years from 1984-85 to 1986-87.
