of <h1>Research Program Approved Under Section 35(2A) for Fiber Optic Transformer and B.H. Curve Device Projects</h1> A scientific research program has been approved under sub-section (2A) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as notified by the Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The program includes two projects: the development of a fiber optic laser current transformer and a device for measuring B. H. Curves of laminations used in current transformers. Sponsored by a company in Madras, these projects will be implemented by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, starting in July 1983, with completion dates in December 1983 and 1984. The estimated costs are Rs. 1,60,000 and Rs. 60,000, respectively.
