<h1>Draft Rules for IT Act Sections Open for Public Comment Until May 18, 2009; Feedback Invited by Email or Post.</h1> The Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, passed by Parliament on December 23, 2008, and notified on February 5, 2009, has led to the drafting of new rules for sections 52, 54, 69, 69A, 69B, 70B(1), and 70B(5). These draft rules are available online, and the Department is inviting comments from individuals, organizations, and service providers. Feedback can be submitted via email or post to the Cyber Law Division by May 18, 2009.
