<h1>Three Arrested Under NDPS Act for Smuggling Acetic Anhydride to Kabul; Hidden in Shipment Declared as 'Ladies Bindis.</h1> Three individuals have been arrested under the NDPS Act following an investigation by Delhi Customs into the illegal export of acetic anhydride to Kabul, Afghanistan. The substance, used in heroin production, was hidden in a shipment declared as 'ladies bindis' by the exporter, M/s Ma Durga Impex. The shipment, containing acetic anhydride in seven plastic jars within nine boxes, was sent via Afghan Airlines on February 21, 2009. The arrested individuals include the General Manager of the Custom House Agent. They have been remanded to judicial custody until May 20, 2009, as investigations continue.
