Chennai, Mar 14 (PTI) The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday appointed B Bala Naga Devi, the current DGP, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai, as the DGP, Intelligence with immediate effect.

The new role for the senior IPS officer has been upgraded from the earlier post of Additional DGP, Intelligence Chennai, the government said.

In another key transfer, a press release from the Home Department, Additional Chief Secretary Dheeraj Kumar said, the Inspector General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Santosh Kumar would be holding additional charge of the post of Additional DGP, Economic Offences Wing.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Rupesh Kumar Meena would hold the additional charge of the post of Additional DGP, Civil Supplies CID, Chennai, the release added. PTI VIJ VIJ KH
