of <h1>Priority sector credit potential for Jammu and Kashmir estimated; PLP to guide inclusive agricultural and MSME lending.</h1> NABARD estimates a priority sector credit potential of Rs 49,795.58 crore for Jammu and Kashmir for 2026-27 and prescribes the Potential Linked Plan (PLP) as the key planning instrument to channel that credit. The paper directs increased agricultural credit, universal Kisan Credit Card coverage with timely term lending, and support for Farmer Producer Organizations and rural MSMEs; operative effects include prioritized lending for horticulture, saffron, handloom/handicrafts with valueaddition and GI support, promotion of nonfarm activities (wool, fisheries, homestays), and rollout of lastmile digital channels and targeted financial inclusion measures.
