<h1>Powarkheda Logistics Composite Hub to connect Central India to international ports, boosting exports and cold-chain capacity.</h1> An agreement was signed to develop the Powarkheda Logistics Composite Hub as a rail-centric inland logistics gateway on 88.3 acres, directly linking Central India to Jawaharlal Nehu Port to improve port hinterland connectivity. The project prescribes integrated cold chain and warehousing, intended to cut transit times and strengthen export supply chains, thereby enabling farmers and MSMEs with value addition and market access. The hub targets enhanced containerised trade for regional manufacturing and agri-processing clusters, promoting trade facilitation, export competitiveness, and long-term infrastructure and supply-chain capacity in the state.
