<h1>Supreme Court directs election authority to display discrepancy lists and accept documents during West Bengal voter revision process.</h1> The Supreme Court ordered transparency in West Bengal's Special Intensive Revision by directing the election authority to display names on the 'logical discrepancies' list at gram panchayat bhavans and block offices and to accept documents and objections there; the Delhi High Court found certain 2016 reassessment proceedings arbitrary and inconsistent with fundamental rights, delineating constitutional limits on tax reassessment powers; and the High Court refused suspension of sentence where trial delay was partly caused by the applicant's repeated procedural applications.
