<h1>Department of Posts integrated as logistics partner for ONDC enabling Click & Book pickup, postage collection, and end-to-end parcel tracking</h1> Department of Posts has been integrated as a Logistics Service Provider (LSP) on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), authorizing it to receive, transmit and deliver ONDC-originated consignments, with immediate operative effect of enabling postal handling of ONDC orders. The integration implements a 'Click & Book' model permitting sellers on ONDC-enabled buyer applications to digitally generate pickup requests and designate the Department of Posts as the logistics partner, with the operative effect that parcels are collected from seller premises and inducted into the postal network. Postage is collected at pickup and consignments are inducted, tracked, and delivered using the Department's technology-enabled logistics systems, effectuating end-to-end tracking and delivery.
