It also sought increasing the Urban Infrastructure Development Fund maximum project-size cap from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore, which would permit larger urban infrastructure projects to be financed under UIDF. Haryana further sought higher untied allocations with relaxed utilisation conditions and continued support under 'Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment,' which would increase discretionary fiscal space for capital expenditure, including medical education expansion, agriculture remediation/modernisation, MSMEs, startups, and social security pensions.
