Chairperson of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Shri Ravi Mittal launched  the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) PGIP program, presiding over as chief guest at an event on the campus on Monday.

Addressing the students, the IBBI Chairperson assured them of strengthened institutional support and announced that efforts would be made to ensure one-year internship opportunities at IBBI for a few selected PGIP students.

He further stated that students interested in research activities may apply for an upcoming IBBI research programme, and upon selection, they would have the opportunity to be on the rolls of IBBI.

The welcome address at the website launch event was delivered by Sh Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh, Director General & CEO, IICA, who highlighted the Institute’s commitment to capacity building, academic excellence, and close engagement with regulators and industry.

During the event, Shri Sudhaker Shukla- HoD Centre for Insolvency and Bankruptcy, IICA presented a brief overview of the activities and achievements of the Centre for PGIP, outlining its academic rigor, industry interface, and growing alumni network.

 The website is a dedicated digital platform designed to connect PGIP alumni with current students. It will enable continuous interaction, knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and enhanced industry exposure for students through alumni engagement.

During an interactive session the students expressed appreciation for IICA’s support, citing opportunities to participate in conclaves, seminars, and meaningful interactions with industry experts, significantly enriching their academic and professional journey.

IICA PGIP website launched; IBBI to offer selected students one year internships and research programme placements. IICA launched a digital platform for its Post Graduate Insolvency Programme to enhance alumni student engagement and industry exposure. The launch included assurances of strengthened institutional support, one year internship opportunities for selected students at the insolvency regulator, and an invitation for students to apply for a research programme that would place selected applicants on the regulator's rolls.
