<h1>Madhya Pradesh roads expansion: six expressways and rural network to boost investment, connectivity and safety.</h1> A state programme will construct six major expressways and 'Pragati Path' projects totalling 3,368 km at Rs 36,483 crore by June 2028 to improve safety, reduce travel time and spur investment. Complementary works include 948 km of National Highways (~Rs 28,000 crore), a 1,770 km Greenfield expressway network, five Hybrid Annuity Model projects totalling 285 km (~Rs 15,000 crore), and 822 rural roads totalling 11,310 km to connect villages to markets. Projects incorporate wildlife sensitive design measures for a tiger corridor and prioritise quality and modern construction technology.
