<h1>Government unveils Export Promotion Mission, extends RoDTEP to 2026 and boosts digital trade infrastructure for MSMEs</h1> The Union Commerce and Industry Minister, chairing the fourth meeting of the reconstituted Board of Trade in New Delhi, outlined policy measures to boost exports through stronger Centre-State coordination. The Export Promotion Mission will include targeted schemes for landlocked States and a system-driven framework involving government, industry, and academia. Emphasis was placed on enforcing high product-quality standards, sharing best practices on Ease of Doing Business and single-window clearances, and expanding digital trade infrastructure. Key initiatives include the Trade Connect ePlatform, digital and paperless DGFT services, extension of the RoDTEP scheme to March 2026, and leveraging recent and upcoming FTAs to support MSMEs and enhance export competitiveness.
