<h1>Mumbai Climate Week 2026 Launches Innovation Challenge to Back Scalable Climate Solutions and Sustainable Finance Across Global South</h1> Mumbai Climate Week (MCW), a climate action platform led by a citizen-driven non-profit in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra and Mumbai's municipal corporation, has launched a multi-stage Climate Innovation Challenge for February 2026. The National Stock Exchange of India will act as Innovation Challenge Partner, supporting scalable mitigation, adaptation, and resilience solutions through mentoring, jury evaluations, and investor engagement. The event invites startups, students, NGOs, and other innovators from India and the Global South, with final showcases at MCW. Structured as a public-private-civil society collaboration, MCW aims to create deployable climate solutions, promote sustainable finance, and strengthen India's role in global climate leadership.
