<h1>Auto major partners with vocational authority to set up 45 advanced ITI labs, training 8,000 students annually</h1> An automobile manufacturer and a state vocational authority executed an agreement to establish advanced automotive training laboratories in 45 Industrial Training Institutes in Maharashtra. The pact obliges the manufacturer to create and equip Light Motor Vehicle technician labs, provide specialised instructor training, and implement the project in three phases over five years, with 13 labs operational by March 2026 and on-ground work starting within two months. The state, through its skill development department, supports integration of these facilities into ITI curricula to enhance training quality and employability.
