<h1>Merck Foundation expands healthcare and education programs with scholarships and media training in The Gambia.</h1> Merck Foundation and The Gambia First Lady partnered to deliver 94 scholarships for Gambian doctors in oncology, fertility and embryology, diabetes care and other specialized fields, alongside one year postgraduate and two year master's training and hands on fellowships; the conference also advanced media training, research capacity under MARS, awards for creative media work, and multi language public awareness materials to strengthen healthcare capacity and address infertility stigma and girls' education.
