<h1>Pharmaceutical foundation funds 925 scholarships and global training to boost diabetes, cardiology, and obesity care in underserved areas</h1> A pharmaceutical foundation announced provision of 925 scholarships (part of over 2,400 total) for postgraduate and master's programs, fellowships, and short courses in diabetes, endocrinology, cardiology, preventive cardiovascular medicine and obesity management for clinicians from 52 countries, alongside awareness materials and media initiatives addressing diabetes and hypertension. The program is delivered in partnership with regional first ladies' offices, health ministries, medical societies and academia, targets rural and underserved areas, and includes awards and multimedia outreach. The foundation states a nonpolitical, humanitarian mission and ongoing public-health capacity-building focus.
