<h1>Government approves 100% Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters to provide Rs 20,000 crore collateral-free credit for MSMEs</h1> The government approved a Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters (CGSE) providing 100% credit guarantee via the national guarantee trustee to member lending institutions for additional credit up to Rs 20,000 crore to eligible exporters, including MSMEs. The scheme, to be implemented by the finance ministry through the trustee, will be overseen by a management committee chaired by the finance department secretary. By enabling collateral-free credit, the measure aims to boost liquidity, support market diversification, enhance global competitiveness, and advance national export targets, thereby reinforcing export-led growth and macroeconomic stability.
