<h1>Government approves Rs 25,060 crore six-year Export Promotion Mission to boost exporters with financial and non-financial support</h1> The government approved an Export Promotion Mission with a Rs 25,060 crore outlay over six years to bolster exporters facing elevated foreign tariffs, implemented via two sub-schemes-Niryat Protsahan (Rs 10,401 crore) for financial support and Niryat Disha (Rs 14,659 crore) for non-financial enablers. Priority sectors include textiles, leather, gems and jewellery, engineering and marine products. Measures target affordable trade finance for MSMEs, export quality/compliance, branding, logistics, and market access. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade will implement the scheme through a digital platform integrated with existing trade systems.
