<h1>State wins Top Achiever award under Business Reforms Action Plan 2024 for investor-friendly, job-creating reforms</h1> The state received a 'top achiever' award under the Business Reforms Action Plan 2024 from the central government at a New Delhi ceremony, recognised for strong performance in business entry, construction permit enablers, investment enablers, sector-specific healthcare and services. A central trade and industry department credited the state with advancing transparent, efficient, investor-friendly reforms that bolster ease of doing business. Since the current state government took office, authorities report investment proposals totalling Rs 1.23 lakh crore expected to create about 4.7 lakh jobs and growth across food processing, textiles, auto components, IT and tourism.
