<h1>Sustainable education empowers rural schools through solar-powered smart classrooms and digital learning, enhancing access and teacher capacity.</h1> AOL-SSRDP and Schneider Electric India Foundation converted Government Senior Secondary School, Bariakhop into a Solar Smart Model School by installing a solar-powered classroom with battery backup, an interactive smart board, connectivity with a multi-year data plan, audio-visual K-12 content, and planned STEM and WASH facilities, while coupling these infrastructure upgrades with teacher capacity building and life-skills training to improve engagement, retention, digital literacy, and operational resilience in rural schools.
