This was SAFEMA's fifth unsuccessful sale attempt; an earlier bidder who offered Rs 2 crore for the smallest parcel failed to complete payment and was blacklisted. The authority plans another auction to divest the forfeited assets pursuant to enforcement and forfeiture procedures under the Act.
