<h1>E-procurement platform trains government buyers on labour law compliance, SLAs, wage undertakings, and mandatory legal declarations</h1> A government e-procurement platform under the commerce ministry held an orientation to sensitize government buyers and stakeholders on legal and procedural compliance in public procurement for manpower services. The session stressed adherence to applicable labour laws and incorporation of Service Level Agreement terms in bids and contracts, required buyer undertakings during bid creation to ensure compliance with minimum wage statutes, and mandatory declarations affirming conformity with all relevant laws and regulations. The initiative aims to strengthen transparency, accountability and statutory compliance in public procurement.
